IT database administrator

The Database Administrator is responsible for supporting the ERP system at Metro Superstore. The successful candidate must be able to:

· Administer, manage security access and user set up for the ERP, ensuring the protection of information from accidental or unauthorized damage.

· Attend to the daily requests received from the different departments: Accounting, Stock, Purchasing, Supermarket etc...

· Follow up ERP projects internally and with provider.

· Responsible for coordinating with the ERP vendor for installing updates, resolve problems and development of new functionalities.

· Provide user support and training for the ERP, create documentation as well as promote best practices in the applications utilization.

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar

Required Skills:

· Preferable Experience in ERP

· Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL and SQL queries

· Accounting knowledge is a plus

· Knowledge in retail environment
